ThinkUp faced several challenges;

Difficulty Identifying and Locating the Right Audiences Globally:

Their AI-driven platform was built for a global community of entrepreneurs - founders at the idea stage, early builders, startup teams, accelerators, and innovation programs. To scale, they needed to understand where these audiences live, how they behave, and what motivates them to adopt a new solution.

Complexity of a Hybrid B2B + B2C Target Audience:

The target audience was uniquely complex: a hybrid mix of B2B (startup programs, accelerators, consultants) and B2C (individual founders and early-stage entrepreneurs), spread across multiple regions, channels, and maturity levels. Reaching them required a tailored, data-driven approach and messaging that spoke to each segment’s needs.

Entering a Crowded and Highly Competitive Market:

At the same time, ThinkUp operated in a crowded market filled with well-known startup tools and platforms. Standing out, earning trust, and clearly communicating their differentiated value became a major challenge — especially for a young brand entering a competitive space.

As a seasoned entrepreneur, ThinkUp’s founder deeply understood the need for such a platform - but recognized that marketing to a global, hybrid B2B/B2C, highly niche audience required a strategic, tech-savvy partner with a proven track record.

ThinkUp sought an international agency to help them reach the right founders, build awareness, and accelerate adoption.

Solution

SAGE began with a deep discovery process - interviewing the team to understand their vision and positioning and researching the competitive landscape.

We built a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including:

Our role

SAGE served as ThinkUp’s acting CMO, leading the brand revamp, repositioning, and full marketing foundation required for early-stage growth. We took complete ownership of the strategy, messaging, and execution, stepping in at the company’s earliest stage to build a solid marketing engine from the ground up. Our work covered all core marketing channels and included:

  • Brand & Messaging: ThinkUp’s brand was refreshed with a modern visual identity, a redesigned digital language, and a more emotionally driven brand voice. New positioning frameworks and the “LookUp” messaging - “Keep Dreaming. Start Building.” - created a clear and memorable narrative foundation.
  • Digital Presence: ThinkUp’s digital presence was upgraded through an improved website experience, the creation of new digital assets, and the development of optimized funnel touchpoints throughout the user journey.
  • Demand Generation: The demand generation strategy included paid campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google to reach both local and global audiences. ThinkUp also partnered with influencers, hosted webinars and community events, and maintained an always-on organic content strategy. To support product education and engagement, a series of new product and feature videos were produced.
  • HubSpot CRM System: On the operational side, the HubSpot CRM system was expanded significantly. Over 75 automated workflows were built for lead status management and marketing nurture. The system now includes comprehensive lead-source tracking and tagging, full ad-conversion tracking, and detailed integration mapping with Mixpanel to ensure a seamless flow of data across platforms.

  • Within just a few months, SAGE Marketing’s efforts delivered remarkable results for ThinkUp showing a measurable rise in product awareness and engagement, bringing qualified traffic of entrepreneurs into the funnel.
  • ThinkUp’s visibility across social media and online channels was remarkable, amplifying ThinkUp’s community presence and brand awareness. Over 126K total exposures, increased impressions and followers on Facebook and LinkedIn by 155%, and Instagram engagement reaching 4,251 unique accounts interacting.
  • The impact extended beyond visibility, driving meaningful business results. Website visits rose by 67%, engaged users by 54%, and the website conversion rate surged 228% to 14.9%. Influencer activity and video assets further boosted qualified traffic, generating measurable awareness, engagement, and interest from entrepreneurs ready to explore ThinkUp’s AI-driven platform.
